DESCRIPTION:Klondike Derby\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCalling all prospectors and scouts: It’s time to return to the Klondike! The Klondike Derby is a 30+ year running winter camping tradition held in February each year. \nKlondike 2026 is on the weekend of February 20-22\, 2026\nTroops and Crews from around California are invited to participate in this winter adventure. Camp Chawanakee will be transformed into the wild Yukon where scouts will traverse the frontier\, traveling from town to town testing their scout skills\, competing for gold\, and demonstrating the Patrol Method. Start planning now for a great Scouting adventure. Prepare your sleds\, prepare for snow\, and prepare to compete as a patrol for gold and glory. Klondike will feature several events\, including fire building\, log saw\, morse code\, snow cannons\, tomahawk throwing\, and more. SUMMARY:2026 Riverbend Camporee& Webeloree Weekend
DESCRIPTION:Riverbend District is excited to host its annual Camporee and Webeloree\, open to all districts\, taking place January 23–25 at Burris Park. This year’s theme is “National Treasure\,” so get ready to solve clues\, complete challenges\, and uncover your way to victory! We’re looking for volunteers to help run stations for both Webelos/Arrow of Light and Scouts BSA\, as well as anyone interested in joining the planning committee. Please contact Michael Gonzales as soon as possible with any ideas or if you’d like to run a station so your input can be included in the planning. \nPrizes will be awarded for 1st\, 2nd\, and 3rd place stations\, along with a Dutch Oven Cook-Off featuring both youth and adult categories. Additional awards include the Riverbend Perpetual Trophy and the Overall Best Troop Award. Registration is only $10 per person\, so don’t miss out on this fun and competitive event!
