Unit Fundraising

Fund Your Adventures. Build Your Scouts.

From a first Cub Scout campout to a week at Camp Chawanakee, great Scouting experiences start with a plan—and Scouts working together to make it happen.

Across Sequoia Council, unit fundraising helps Packs, Troops, Crews, and Ships turn their goals into real adventures. Funds can help cover camping and activity fees, purchase outdoor equipment, support adult leader training, provide advancement materials, and reduce costs for Scouting families.

Along the way, Scouts learn to set goals, communicate with others, handle setbacks, and follow through. They build confidence, practice teamwork, and experience the pride of earning their own way.

Every sale and every shared effort can open another door: a Scout attending summer camp, a unit replacing worn equipment, or a family being able to participate. Council-sponsored fundraisers can also help sustain the camps, programs, and support our units depend on.

When we fund Scouting, we invest in the young people of Fresno, Madera, Kings, and Tulare counties—and the adventures that help them grow.

Other Unit Fundraisers

Have a fundraising idea to help fuel your unit’s next adventure? Sequoia Council units can organize additional fundraisers to support activities, equipment, and other Scouting needs.

Before starting, submit a Unit Money-Earning Application to Sequoia Council for approval. The application outlines your proposed fundraiser and includes guidelines to help your unit plan a successful project that reflects Scouting’s values.

Planning ahead helps keep your fundraiser on track—and your Scouts working toward their next adventure.
