- BALOO – Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation
- It requires completing an online prerequisite on My.Scouting.org followed by an overnight hands-on outdoor camping experience. At least one BALOO-trained adult must attend any Cub Scout pack or den overnighter.
- IOLS – Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills
- It is required for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters to be considered “position-trained”. The course models the patrol method, teaching adults the practical camping, cooking, and pioneering skills needed to guide youth through First Class rank.
- NorCal College of Commissioner Science
- Courses for every level of Commissioner and every level of Commissioner experience, including Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate of Commissioner Science Degrees, with Continuing Education Degree sessions.
